Pepe gave Real Madrid the lead as the home side looked like sending a message to Barcelona today. But Real were guilty of missing many chances as they were not able to kill the game off quickly.

Atletico slowly grew into the game, and Griezmann’s equalizer was followed by a lot of pressure by the visitors in the last final minutes of the match.

With the points being split between the two teams, Barcelona were the real winners of the day as their title hopes got new lease of life.
