Rohit Sharma wishes Happy Unfriendship Day to Kieron Pollard: The two cricketers were recently seen in a TV commercial.

While all eyes around Indian cricket are on the historic pink-ball Test which is starting tomorrow between India and Bangladesh in Kolkata, there is another intriguing series coming up to enthrall the fans.

India’s home season will see them taking on West Indies after the day-night Test which is slated to end on November 26. Playing under the leadership of all-rounder Kieron Pollard, West Indies’ limited-overs side has it in to put forward a tough task in front of India.

Starting from December 6 in Mumbai, India and West Indies will play three T20Is before playing a three-match ODI series which will start from December 15 in Chennai. The other two ODIs are scheduled to be played in Visakhapatnam and Cuttack on December 18 and 22 respectively.

In a build-up to the series, India limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma and West Indies captain Pollard were seen appearing together in an advertisement for broadcaster Star Sports.

It is worth mentioning that both the players are close friends as they have played together for nearly a decade at Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

The advertisement sees Sharma receiving Pollard from the airport. Just as the duo is enjoying the car ride, a phone call regarding playing against India makes Sharma leave Pollard midway to their destination.
