David De Gea error: Manchester United go down to Watford after De Gea’s disastrous fumble against Ismaila Sarr’s strike.
David De Gea has made the biggest blunder of the season as Manchester United have gone back to being their usual self after the highs of beating Tottenham and Manchester City in a span of 7 days. United’s mini run of victories was bought to an end with a draw to Everton and what little hopes the fans had has now been dashed after being 2-0 down to Watford, the 20th place team in the Premier League.

Hughes took a free kick for the Hornets. The ball found its way to Islamia Sarr who put in a weak shot that somehow found its way between De Gea’s gloves and entered the net to give Watford the lead in the 50th minute of the match.

David De Gea was livid with himself for his abysmal keeping. However, he was not the only player in the side who made devastating mistakes as Aaron Wan-Bissaka brought Sarr down inside the box to hand Watford a penalty four minutes later.
Troy Deeney took the shot from the spot and doubled the lead for Watford to pile the misery on the visiting Manchester United side. Bottom of the table but on top on the night, Watford have pulverized Manchester United and the club have only themselves to blame.
