Barcelona set 88 Million Pounds as the ceiling price for Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba’s future will be a much talked about subject over the next few months, as rumours swirl around his possible departure from Manchester United.
The Frenchman arrived at the start of last season for a world record fee, as Pogba was supposed to drive United to a new era of dominance. With Jose Mourinho also at the helm, United fans could barley contain their excitement over the the possibility of a bright future.
But 18 months since his big money move, Pogba is cutting a frustrated figure at Old Trafford, as the Frenchman is seemingly frustrated with Mourinho. The Portuguese manager is himself not happy at the moment, as he has faced a lot of flak for his side’s inability to compete for the Premier League title this season.
While Guardiola has thrown bucket loads of money to assemble a very expensive side, there is no doubt that the Spaniard has improved players in the City side. The likes of Sterling, Otamendi, Walker and de Bryune have transformed into world beaters under Guardiola.
On the red half of Manchester, the likes of Mata, Martial, Pogba, Lukaku and previously Mkhitaryan never really blossomed under Jose, which is another reason why Pogba feels his future lies outside Old Trafford.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are quite interested in Pogba, and may start a bidding war to snatch him from United. The Catalans have already 88 Million Pounds as the ceiling price, as they do not want to go more than that.
