Premier League Big 6 Summer signings rated
Manchester City
Angelino
Angelino was bought back to the club from PSV in the summer. However, he hasn’t done anything of note since rejoining Manchester City. A cumulative showing of 422 minutes in 24 games shows how sparingly he has been used and when he does play, he hasn’t shown a good enough reason to be picked more regularly.
Rating: 4.5/10
Rodrigo
Manchester City met the terms of Rodrigo’s €70 million release clause to bring him in as a future replacement for the ageing Fernandinho. However, the loss of Laporte to a long-term injury saw the two playing together several times.
Rodri has so far proven to be a versatile player for Manchester player and already adds more to the side’a attacking play, Fernandinho is still superior of the two when it comes to the defensive aspect of the game. This is where Rodri will himself admit that he still has work to do.
Rating: 7/10
Joao Cancelo
With Benjamin Mendy on the left and Kyle Walker on the right, Cancelo has seen limited game time this season so far. However, considering the number of games City will play in the 2nd half of the campaign, Cancelo will likely play more games.
However, whenever Cancelo has played, he has proved to be an excellent purchase for the side. He is easily one of the best in his position and is a versatile enough to play on the right side in the wings and can play on the left at the back as well.
Rating: 6/10
Scott Carson
The 34-year old joined Manchester City on loan from Derby County this season as a back up to Ederson and Claudio Bravo. He is yet to play a match for the side and is merely there in the unlikely scenario that the keepers ahead of him get injured or suspended.

Liverpool
Adrian
With Simon Mignolet leaving the club in the summer, Liverpool signed Adrian on a free transfer in the summer. Adrian has mostly warmed the bench with Alisson on goal. However, Adrian has still played a number of matches following the Brazilian’s injury and suspension and has proved to be a worthy stand by.
Rating: 6.5/10
It’s a shame today’s result overshadowed just how good Adrian was yet again.
He arrived on a free with no expectations yet has never let us down and performed well above expectations.

Sepp vab den Berg
The Dutch centreback joined the club in the summer for a fee of £1.3 million, which could potentially rise up to £4.4 million if all agreed clauses are activated. He is yet to make his Premier League debut but has made 3 appearances in the Carabao Cup.
Although the fans understand the need to be patient with the recently turned 18-year old, he still has a lot to add to his game before making the transition to the first team.

Harvey Elliot
Harvey Elliot joined Liverpool in the summer. The 16-year old has since impressed many with his showing in the youth games. His performance has earned him a senior spot in 3 Carabao Cup matches, 2 Fa Cup matches and even one substitute appearance in the Premier League.
