Emre Can scores wonderclass goal on his debut against Bayer Leverkusen
Emre Can score a world-class goal on his debut game for Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga; the match ended to be a 6-7-goal dramatic tie.
Borussia Dortmund once again played a 7-goal thrilling encounter, this time at the den of Bayer Leverkusen and they were unfortunately at the losing side even though they scored three goals.
But it was a good night for new signing Emre Can, who made his debut for Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga after making a loan move from Juventus in this transfer window.
The German International scored a world-class goal in the 33rd minute, Can took a couple of touches to get the ball out of his foot and then, from 25 yards out, curled in an absolute beauty into the top, far corner.
His strike held a significance in the match, as his ferocious strike put Lucien Favre’s side in the lead, only for Volland to notch a second and pull Leverkusen level going into half-time.

Dortmund were 1-0 down in the 20th minute when Kevin Volland opened the scoring for the hosts before Mats Hummels instantly replied with his first goal in his second spell with the club from a Jadon Sancho corner.
Later Raphael Guerrero’s goal brought Borussia Dortmund at advantage until late goals by Leon Bailey and Lars Bender sealed the game for the hosts.
Meanwhile, Can scored his first goal for Borussia Dortmund against his former side, as he was the player of Bayer Leverkusen for a season in 2013/14 before he joined Liverpool.
With this defeat, Borussia Dortmund will face a big hit in the race for Bundesliga, as Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are in good momentum this season.
