Incredible video of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo goes viral as it tributes their glorious rivalry, which dominated world football for years.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the greatest players of this generation and are deemed as players who come once in a lifetime. It’s been more than a decade since they got involved in the most intense individual competition.

The rivalry between them peaked when Ronaldo joined Messi’s arch-rivals Real Madrid and since then only they dominated the podium at Ballon D’or and UEFA Player of the year podiums.

They both share 910 goals in the time while Ronaldo was at Real Madrid. Even El Clasicos had their charm in this decade because of the competition between the two.

Even though they had an intense rivalry between them, they massively respect each others’ abilities and achievements. During the UEFA Player of the year ceremony, Ronaldo spoke highly of Messi, which left everyone in admiring both.

However, with both players into the last years of their career, one has to cherish their extraordinary talents while it remains. To honour this rivalry, a YouTuber named MagicalMessi created a compilation video of the greatest moments given by these players.

Clips of their cultural impact are also shown, with Ronaldo being asked for selfies while on the pitch and legions of fans surrounding them. Whilst Ronaldo made a move to Juventus, their rivalry cooled down as they haven’t faced each other since then.

But the memory of their peak days remain and as Frank Lampard once said, comparing Ronaldo and Messi should end and both should be enjoyed until they retire.

Also, both players have often admitted that while they were competing against each other, they made themselves better and the rivalry had an incredible part in shaping their careers.
