IPL 2017 Fantasy Tips: Fantasy Guide for KKR vs MI Qualifier

Why does sport attract so many viewers? Why do people go gaga over their favourite team when they know that the players would never ever know about their unconditional love towards the team/club?

In a world that’s coded to run in a systematic way, sport offers that uncertainty that we all crave for. Office routine, traffic, boss woes, presentations; the ‘same old’ kills an individual on the inside, everyday. But when you return home, switch on the TV, and watch your favourite sport, or your favourite team play, you forget all your problems, because the uncertainty, the thrill that you so dearly longed for in your entire day, finally makes an appearance in your life.

For so many, sport is that outlet that makes people believe in larger than life things. The lights, the fans, the paparazzi, it all seems part of a fairy tale, one with sad endings too, but one where you embrace your emotions to the limit.

But when external factors bring about that uncertainity, it knocks joy out of the window and brings in frustration. Rain has often marred the game of cricket, often causing skill to take the back seat, and luck to quickly occupy the front one. In the KKR-SRH game, rain shortened what could have been a really interesting match up, instead it almost handed the match on a plate to KKR, something that they were never going to miss out on.

KKR romped to that meagre score of 40 odd and in the process, eliminated the defending champions. Players and team owners have called out for reserve days to help curtail rain days better and with Rajiv Shukla giving it an affirmative on social media, hopefully we’ll have reserve days from next year on.

Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians

Two of the most celebrated teams in IPL history take on each other for a place in the grand final.

Fancy owners, giant fanbase, attractive stadiums, beautiful jerseys and IPL titles, these two sides have achieved everything over the past 10 years, and have flaunted it all the same.

With all teams getting dissolved next season, these bunch of players would do anything to make it to the final as a unit this time round.

KKR have suffered a huge setback with Manish Pandey’s injury and would be hoping that Suryakumar Yadav can step into that number 5 role and make it his own on this big, big night. Mumbai Indians on the other hand would want to ride on their superior record against KKR to help them pull through this hurdle. The pressure though will be all on Mumbai, as they wouldn’t want to be knocked out before the finals despite topping the league stage.

Let’s get to business now!
