LeBron James: Lakers star not training at team facility; but will have to report by June 23
LeBron James is currently not training at the Lakers facility, but according to the NBA guidelines that will have to change soon.
The Coronavirus Pandemic put the 2019-20 NBA season at a halt as on March 11, when the season was suspended. What followed was that all teams had also shut down their training facilities, in order to align with all the social distancing measures the government had imposed.
LeBron James had to opt for private workouts all through the lockdown because of the restriction that was in place at the UCLA Health Training Centre(where the Lakers practice).

NBA’s guidelines mean LeBron will return to Lakers’ training centre
Los Angeles Lakers reopened their Training Facilities last month. Lakers players like Alex Caruso, Jared Dudley, and Kyle Kuzma trained at the facility but Lebron was rather happy training in private.
Starting June 23, players who have been working out at private gyms will be prohibited without prior NBA approval. Several Lakers, LeBron included, spent the majority of their hiatus playing on private courts rather than at the facility, where there are restrictions in place.

However, according to the NBA new guidelines for the return of the season, players who have been training in their private facilities will have to return to the team training facility by 23 June. The staff and the players will have to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test from 23 June and they will be under constant surveillance.
No Group workouts allowed
Players have to return to the training facility by 23 June but they wouldn’t be allowed to participate in group training, until 9th July. The rule ensures that the player that will enter the bubble has the least chance of getting infected with the Coronavirus.
Lakers are currently the table-toppers of the Western Conference with a record of (49-14) and have the best chance to win the title with LeBron by their side.
The season restart can see some injuries as a three and a half month period without proper training has made the players injury prone. Thus, from the 23rd of June, all teams would want to ensure that players are in great shape for the NBA restart in Orlando from the 30th of July.
