"Pat never said anything like this", Ivica Zubac refutes claim that Patrick Beverly disrespected Michele Roberts

Ivica Zubac of the Clippers denies claims that Patrick Beverley said, “No, I pay your salary,” to NBPA executive, Michele Roberts.

It was reported earlier by Yahoo Sports’s Chris Haynes that during the meeting that took place Thursday night, NBPA executive, Michele Roberts was politely warning the players about the financial consequences they would face upon abandonment of the bubble.

This prompted Patrick Beverley to say, quote, “No, I pay your salary,” to Roberts.

Ivica Zubac defends Los Angeles Clippers point guard on Twitter.

In a tweet posted by the Clippers big man just moments ago, Zubac shows his disapproval of Chris Haynes’s earlier report.

Ivica Zubac and Patrick Beverley’s relationship

The 23 year old center has formed an interesting relationship with the Clippers’s veteran point guard.

Zubac has said on many occasions that Beverly pushes him to be better at every aspect of the game, especially at rim protection. Beverly has been quoted saying, “Zu’s been hooping all year.”

Zubac’s ability to roll hard to the basket has been quite beneficial to the Clippers, as Patrick Beverly has set up many easy buckets for Zubac with some pick-and-roll action.

Who should the fans trust in this situation?

Should the fans trust long time, respected reporter, Chris Haynes?

Or should Ivica Zubac’s claims hold more weightage as he is Patrick Beverly’s teammate?
