Kevin Durant calls Kendrick Perkins a ‘sell-out’ in Kyrie Irving ‘NBA Bubble’ fiasco

Kevin Durant called Perkins a “sell-out”, Wilson Chandler also came in support for his teammate  Kyrie against Perkins Allegations.

Kendrick Perkins, an NBA Veteran and 2008 champion with the Celtics, is famous for criticizing NBA players particularly Kyrie Irving, has once against sparked controversy.

On ESPN’s “Evening Nightly News” with Peter Rosenberg, Perkins called out the Brooklyn Nets Star Kyrie a bird brain and the main distractor for the ongoing racial movements in America. 

After Perkins’s comment on Kyrie, Wilson Chandler defended his teammate by posting two twitter posts saying veteran NBA players are turning into suckers and pointed out Perkins the real attention seeker and the distraction for NBA players.

Kevin Durant, who’s been critical of Perkins’ contribution in the Thunder’s 2012 Finals, retweeted two videos of Perkins’ blunders that were posted by someone going with a twitter handle of Dr Guru. He also called Perkins a “sell-out” in an Instagram comment section.

Perkins and Durant were teammates with Oklahoma City Thunder, and the bitterness among them is going on since then. In 2018 Perkins flipped his middle finger at Durant.

Irving also made Perkins look like a fool when Perkins suggested that Kyrie will sign for Knicks but instead Brooklyn Nets signed Kyrie. Sources said that Kevin was eager to sign Kyrie for the Nets.

Perkins is after Kyrie from the start when Irving came out with the idea of not participating in the league and instead of that he will try to bring social change in America. However, Kyrie Irving is out of the current season due to injury and would not be a part of the NBA return at Orlando.
