5 F1 drivers, who might have had different careers right now, hadn’t they been successful in grabbing a spot in F1 amidst the cut-throat competition.

Lewis Hamilton – Fashion Designing

Let us start with the current Formula 1 Champion. He is arguably one of the greatest drivers in the world, but what cannot be argued is his impeccable fashion sense.

The Brit has been the face of Tommy Hilfiger for years now. But what most people don’t know is that he designs clothes too for the American brand! So, it would be only fitting if he takes up fashion designing after his F1 career.

Lance Stroll – billionaire Entrepreneur

We know him as a driver for the Racing Point team. But, interestingly, he is also the son of billionaire Lawrence Stroll. The latter has put in a big buck in the sport, allegedly ensuring his son continues to race in F1.

Lawrence, an avid collector of Ferrari, is the Executive Chairman of Aston Martin. Now that Racing Point is being re-branded as Aston Martin, don’t be surprised if Lance is the chosen heir to his Dad’s Aston Martin throne.

Max Verstappen / Lando Norris – E-sports

We live in an era where everything has gone digital. F1 was not to be left behind, and they launched their F1 game in association with Codemasters.

The buck did not stop there, and some drivers took part in the e-F1 that was organised during the lockdown. I could have added a few more names in this list, but Max and Lando seem quite apt options. Both are crazy about e-sports, and would do really well if they take it up.

Giancarlo Fisichella – DJing

The former Force India driver and F1 veteran of 229 Grand Prix did pretty well in the circuit, winning 3 of them. He is also quite successful of the tarmac, no less. The 47-year old been channelling his DJing skills, earning good bucks from it. He is a regular performer at the hotshot clubs of Ibiza during the summer breaks.

Jarno Trulli – Winegrower

Saving the best for the last, clearly. Another F1 veteran, who raced in 252 Grand Prix for teams like Renault, Toyota, and Jordan, has had quite a life post-F1. He bought the Castorani estate in Italy from all the money he had and earned from F1. There, he grows the Jarno Rosso, a full-bodied red wine, precisely to his liking. He has been influential to other F1 drivers to hold alternate careers.
