James Harden mask: Rapper Young Thug supports Rockets star over blue lives matter mask controversy
The James Harden mask has been in the news as it has been linked with ‘Blue Lives matter’; Rapper Young Thung has voiced his opinion.
The Houston Rockets’ can’t get a break at the moment. The franchise has constantly been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Now, their franchise star has added to their woes by sporting a controversial mask which symbolizes a campaign opposing the Black Lives Matter movement.
Rapper Young has defended Harden and claimed that it was a accidental mistake from the former MVP winner.

James Harden mask controversy: Rapper Young Thug speaks out
Young defended Harden by tweeting that it wasn’t done deliberately. The mask has taken the internet by storm with the fans coming down heavily on the Rockets’ guard. The design on the mask is denoted in support of the Blue Lives Matter movement. The movement aimed at killing those who are prosecuted and convicted of killing law enforcement officers.

Even Harden wouldn’t have expected the outrage surrounding his mask. The NBA’s official twitter account and the Rockets’ social media pages posted Harden’s picture sporting this mask. Harden has put himself in a spot in this scenario. With social tensions at an all-time high in America, the superstar needs to stay away from controversy.

What’s next for James Harden and his Rockets?
