Holly Holm Vs. Irene Aldana Is Set For Another Go on October 3
Holly Holm Vs. Irene Aldana is set for another go, this time on October 3. The match was previously the headliner of UFC Vegas 5.
Holly Holm Vs. Irene Aldana, which was earlier fixed as the main event of August 1, fight night event, was taken off from the fight card back then, after Irene Aldana was found Corona positive just 10 days before the event. At that time, the co-main event of Edmen Shahbazyan Vs. Derek Brunson was promoted to become the main event, but it was notified by UFC that the original headliner will be rescheduled at a later date. And thus Holly Holm Vs. Irene Aldana is booked again, this time the date is October 3, 2020.

Both Holly Holm and Irene Aldana will be fighting for the first time in the current COVID-19 scenario. And it will be a comeback of sorts for both professionals. The venue for the Bantamweight bout is not finalized yet, however there are speculations that Abu Dhabi might open the doors of fight island again for the event.

Out of the ring, Holly Holm is quite active on social media. On the other hand Irene Aldana maintains a very low profile, and has recently successfully recovered from SARS-COV-2.
