‘One regret about Anthony Davis’ game winner’: LeBron James highlights how AD buzzer beater could have been better
Lakers Superstar LeBron James reveals his one regret about Anthony Davis’ game-winning 3 vs Nuggets in Game 2.
Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. 5 seconds on the clock. The score is 103-102, Nuggets up by 1. Coach Vogel takes out Alex Caruso and brings in Rajan Rondo for the inbounds pass.
Coach Malone takes out Milsap and puts in Plumlee to save a drive/lob at the rim. Rondo cannot find LBJ, finds a rushing AD on the 3 point line. AD catches the ball, throws up a perfect shot, and swish! Lakers win at the buzzer!

LeBron James and the entire Lakers team were ecstatic about AD’s heroic game-winner and why would they not be! The game they had in their pocket seemed to slip away, thanks to Jokic scoring 12 straight for the Nuggets, to give them a 1-point edge over the Lakers.
Post-game, LeBron reveals what could have made the perfect buzzer-beater even better.
LeBron: “The one thing I wish with this shot AD hit is, I wish we were playing at Staples. I miss our fans so much.”

AD channels his inner Kobe for the final shot
The Lakers stepped out on the floor wearing their special Black Mamba jerseys, revealed on 24th August, to honor the Lakers’ legend, Kobe Bryant. The Lakers have worn the jersey in 3 different occasions and have been 3-0 whenever they don the Mamba jerseys.
