Teams such the Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat, and the Toronto Raptors are trying to free up cap space to lure Giannis away from Milwaukee.
The 2x MVP has talked about his future in Milwaukee before. Right after being eliminated from the Playoffs by the Heat, Giannis claimed he wouldn’t be opposed to finishing his career off in Milwaukee. He said he wants to develop a winning culture in the Bucks franchise.

Giannis Antetokounmpo on future with Bucks and possible move to Lakers
In an interview he did in Sweden, he was asked about his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis said, “I will do what is best for my family. I do not see why i could not be in Milwaukee for several years. As long as Milwaukee and I are on the same page when it comes to being one of the best teams in the league and winning championships, that’s fine.”
“It depends on what decisions they make. If they make the right decision, I’ll be there for many years. If they do not, we’ll see. The NBA is business and we take it day by day. Hopefully we can succeed together.”

However, he did issue a fair warning saying, “When it changes, it will not be good.”
When asked about his potential contract extension, Giannis said, “If they make the right decision, I’ll be there for years. If they do not, we’ll see.”
At the start of the interview, Giannis also joked about possibly moving to Hollywood(LA) and joining the Lakers or the Clippers. But he quickly pointed out that he was kidding, with also keeping the possibility of that move open.
“In Hollywood, no, I’m just kidding. I do not know. I just see us being happy, having many children as a family and being in a place where we can have fun and enjoy life.”
Will Giannis stay in Milwaukee?
The Greek Freak has made it quite apparent that he only cares about winning championships now. He is quoted as saying, “I do not care about the money.”
So it will be interesting to see which team around the league will give him the best opportunity to win a title.
