‘Larsa doesn’t give a f**k anymore’: A short relationship history of why Scottie Pippen divorced Larsa Pippen amidst Malik Beasley controversy

With Larsa Pippen making all the wrong kind of headlines recently, we decided to inform readers of her past with Scottie Pippen.

Larsa first met Scottie in the year 1995. At the time, Scottie was universally recognized as one of the league’s best players. He’d been divorced from his first wife Karen in the year 1990, with whom he’d had a son. He was also coming off a botched engagement with Yvette de Leon.

Larsa, who went by the maiden name of Younan, is of Lebanese descent. She married Scottie in the year 1997. The couple have 4 kids – Scotty (born in 2000), Preston (born 2002), Justin (born 2005) and Sophia (born 2008).

Why did Scottie and Larsa Pippen separate?

Despite being in a happy and successful relationship for a long time, cracks began to appear in the couple’s wedded life in 2016. Cops were called to their Fort Lauderdale residence two days in a row in October 2016.

It was later revealed by Larsa herself that she began seeing Cleveland Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson around this time. She also admitted to dating Future – something the Bulls legend did not take kindly to. Scottie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences late in 2016.

When Scottie and Larsa agreed to shred the documents of their 2016 divorce case in 2017, it appeared that the two have worked out their differences. But this was only for a year, as Larsa decided to file for divorce in 2018. This time, the separation was final…except it really hasn’t been finalized.

The case is still going on in court. There have been some unconfirmed reports that Larsa went back to Scottie following the mayhem regarding her and Malik Beasley.

The internet, meanwhile, has been merciless in its assessment of the couple’s relationship.

I really think Scottie didn’t divorce Larsa cause it cost too much so it’s cheaper to keep her – she can do what she wants and she got access to that money still. They probably separated 😂
