‘Dwight Howard sued for $50,000’: Former Lakers center being taken to court by ex-employees for unpaid salaries
Armica Nabaa and Kamisha Shelman filed a lawsuit against 76ers center Dwight Howard. They’re claiming unpaid wages after he fired them in January.
Dwight Howard has a 200-pound constrictor, in addition to a few other species. The 2 women tasked with caring for it say the NBA star screwed them when it was time to pay up. These women said they were hired in December 2018 to handle “business affairs and administrative tasks”.
According to them, their tasks were soon diversified into other domains of the Howard household. These included tasks that were previously held by Howard’s groundskeeper, butler and maid. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Other reasons why Dwight Howard has been in the news of late
Howard was a crucial member of the Lakers squad that won the NBA championship for the first time in 10 seasons in October. His name was then dragged into the mud by Shaq, who claimed his over-the-top celebrations were an attempt to hijack credit.
Shortly after that, Howard’s son came forward with a heartbreaking story of neglect by the center. Howard issued an apology to his son through a public interview. It is unclear how things are between him and his son presently.
Howard then made waves by first announcing that he would be re-signing with Lakers nation. In a couple of hours, that turned out to be a hoax as his signature was announced by Daryl Morey.
Howard has redeemed his public image to a certain degree over the past year. But if he continues to be involved in cases like this, it won’t be a good look for the veteran.
