‘Clippers will beat Nets in 6 games in NBA Finals’: Skip Bayless says Kevin Durant won’t be enough for Brooklyn to win championship
Despite lavishing the praise on Nets superstar Kevin Durant, Skip Bayless is unwilling to slate his team as possible NBA champions.
Durant seems to be in amazing form judging from how he looked in preseason. He followed that up with a great season opener at home against Golden State. Every indication seems to be that Durant is an all-NBA talent once again – first team if he keeps scoring and winning like this.
The Nets will be looking to rely heavily upon their most successful star. But they also have a great supporting cast around KD. Kyrie Irving is an amazing scorer in his own right. Guards Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert have caused problems to NBA defenses for years now.
In all probability, the Nets, coached by Steve Nash, will snag a top-3 seed in the East. This will put them on the path to title contention, setting them up possibly against the Pacers, Wizards or Hawks in the first round.
Skip Bayless says Kevin Durant not enough for Nets to win the NBA Finals
As always, Skip was careful to diss LeBron James and the Lakers while praising others. KD was the recipient of his praise this time, but yet again, Bayless made sure it wasn’t unbridled.
The Undisputed host stated on yesterday’s show he believes that the Clippers will beat the Nets in 6 games in the 2021 NBA Finals game.
I watched Kevin Durant last Friday night and I was in awe of what I saw. He was dominant, he was omnipotent. That Nets team is loaded top to bottom. But I have the Clippers beating them in 6 in the NBA Finals. More @Undisputed, now on FS1

Yet again, Bayless made clear that he doesn’t trust Kyrie Irving. But Bayless has said a number of times over the past several seasons that KD is the best player in the world. If he has such belief in his man, he should’ve put more faith in his team too.
