‘LeBron James went full Tenet mode’: Lakers star hilariously performs backward roll after missing dunk against Spurs, fans flood Twitter with memes
LeBron James gave some more meme material to fans after he flipped over himself following a missed dunk against the Spurs tonight.
James got his first triple-double of the season and led the Lakers to a second straight win, taking them to a 4-2 record. They are currently 3rd in the Conference and tied with the Clippers (2nd) by record. They look as potent as they did last year, if not more so.
James also came up with a clutch bucket in the final minute of the game to take the score to 107-103, effectively putting it out of the Spurs’ reach. Overall, it was the most impactful performance James has had in this short season.

In the play in question, James streaked down the Spurs’ paint for a lefty slam, but he missed the mark. The Spurs went down the other end as James got back up with a backward roll. He did rejoin the defense, but it caused a rotation the Lakers failed to make. Rudy Gay got the easy dunk to close the half.

Some people found it really admirable, even though it’s a roll James has been doing since primary school.
Lebron’s shoulder roll will be used in the next piece I choreograph. A true inspiration.

The Lakers will next play 2 games against the shorthanded Grizzlies – a great opportunity to go top of the NBA standings.
