“I’m living my life in a box”: Blazers star Damian Lillard speaks about how tough it has been to stay in isolation as part of NBA’s Covid-19 protocol
Damian Lillard candidly expressed the drawbacks of being engaged fully in a Covid-threatened NBA regular season.
2020 was a difficult year for practically everyone we know. Basketball stars still have to follow stringent protocols, despite the release of the Covid vaccine. The USA is losing around 4000 people to the pandemic every day now. This is putting greater pressure on its healthcare than ever.

The Blazers have had a characteristically topsy-turvy start to the season. They’re now 6-4, but they started off with a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz. They are tipped to be one of the challengers to the incumbent Lakers in the playoffs.

Lillard presented a somewhat morose picture of his life of late while speaking to the media today:

The Blazers don’t have it better or worse than any other NBA team. While the likes of Kyrie Irving and James Harden have flipped out, Damian Lillard has managed to maintain his focus.
