“There are still some deficits”- Schumacher warns Sebastian Vettel
“There are still some deficits”- Ralph Schumacher warns his compatriot of deficits in the newly formed Aston Martin team.
Sebastian Vettel after Toro Rosso never raced for a team which hasn’t been a powerhouse, now switching his allegiance to Lawrence Stroll, Vettel is entering into a new phase of his career.
Worried about his new endeavour, his compatriot Ralph Schumacher has warned Vettel of the team’s deficits, despite claiming that Aston Martin (formerly Racing Point) is still a fabulous team.
“It was a messed up season from the start. The driving errors were because he wanted more and under pressure, and that was all too much. That shows how human Formula 1 is.” said Schumacher to Skysports, as per the Speedweek.
“This is a great team; they have always been survivors. But what is more crucial: There are still some deficits in the team. You can’t turn a cow into a tiger overnight. If you suddenly have a tiger in the box, you have to be able to tame it. ”
Though Schumacher claims that he is happy for Vettel, as the team under the leadership of Stroll seems to provide good backing to the 33-year-old race driver.
“I’m happy that he finally has a team that stands behind him again,” emphasized the 45-year-old.
Sebastian Vettel ready to help Schumachers
While Ralph is showing concerns for Vettel, on the other side, his nephew and son of legendary Michael Schumacher, Mick Schumacher is looking forward to gaining mentorship from Vettel.
In response, the Aston Martin driver has agreed to help the son of his young age hero. Meanwhile, Ralph’s son, David Schumacher, is also vying for a career in the apex motorsport.
And if Vettel sticks by the time David luckily makes into the scene, he might even help him grow, but let’s first wait for Mick’s turn.
