Peter BBL 10: Melbourne Renegades’ Will Sutherland emulates Peter Hatzoglou’s bowling action
Will Sutherland emulates Peter Hatzoglou’s bowling action: The pacer from Melbourne Renegades copied his teammate’s bowling action.
The online sensation in Melbourne Renegades spinner Peter Hatzoglou continues to amaze fans online despite him not personally involving himself in enticing interest across social media platforms.
Hatzoglou, whose mention across social media platforms invites multiple comments reading “Peter” and nothing else, is primarily due to cricket fans wanting to recognize a 22-year old player playing in his debut Big Bash League season.
After making his presence felt on social media, Hatzoglou seems to be becoming a favourite of his teammates as well. Most recently, Hatzoglou’s Renegades teammate Will Sutherland was seen emulating his bowling action.
It is worth mentioning that Hatzoglou has also invoked interest from on-field spectators for hoardings comprising of his photo and first name have been commonly sighted inside stadiums in the ongoing season.
In the 12 matches that Hatzoglou has played this season, he has dismissed 16 batsmen at an average of 22.81, an economy rate of 8.48 and a strike rate of 16.1. Currently Renegades’ highest wicket-taker in what has been a dismal season otherwise, the lean leg-spinner would be looking to continue his form in the remaining two matches as well.
