A Chicago Bulls fan took to Twitter and posted a meme. Calling the Portland Trail Blazers organization ‘the son’ and Zach LaVine ‘the father’. Well, after Saturday night’s game, this meme didn’t age well.
The five-time All-Star Damian Lillard must have seen this meme before the match and would’ve taken it personally. Lillard delivered two crucial three-pointers in absolute crunch time to deliver an unexpected win for his team.
Post the match, Lillard took out the time to respond to the infamous tweet by replying a laughing emoji.

‘Back-to-back three’s to break the heart of the Bulls’: Bulls announcer reacts to Lillard’s unbelievable game-winner
Damian Lillard first pulled up from 37 feet to convert a difficult three-pointer. He then went off to score an even more difficult three-pointer off of a jump ball to win the match.
Lillard finished the game with 44 points and 9 assists, which is not surprising. What is astonishing is the way Lillard changed the outcome of the match in only 11 seconds and win the game 123-122. As Lillard hit the final shot, the announcer screeched with passion:
“Damian Lillard. Game-winner in Chicago. Back-to-back three’s to break the heart of the Bulls”
For all the fans who know who Damian Lillard is, will know that shooting the ball under pressure is not a new thing to him. He has stepped up in the clutch, countless number of times, against many different opponents.
Unfortunately with this shot, he broke the hearts of Zach LaVine and his team. The Bulls now lose their third straight game and fall to the 11th spot of the Eastern Conference. Whereas, with Lillard’s game-winner, the Blazers are now 7th places on the Western Conference with a 10-8 record.
