Bollywood actress rates Virat Kohli ahead of Sachin Tendulkar

Virat Kohli is arguably the most popular cricketer in the game today. His aggression and passion on the pitch is something that inspires his team mates, while his flamboyant nature has already made him a youth icon for the nation.

Kohli also has many admirers off the pitch, particularly in Bollywood. The Indian skipper is currently in a relationship with leading B-town actor, Anushka Sharma.

But Anushka is not the only leading actor who is a major fan of the batsman. In a recent interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that her favourite batsman is Virat Kohli, and has also compared him with the great Sachin Tendulkar.

“I love the way Virat plays. He is my favourite,” Kareena said, before going on to compare Kohli with the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. “Isn’t he already the next Sachin Tendulkar? After all, he’s the reason why we are winning so many matches in succession,” Kareena was quoted as saying by India.com.

Kohli is already one of the biggest brands in the country, with a net worth that rivals somes of the biggest stars in Bollywood.

If all goes well, Kohli is set to play for the next decade or so which will mean that he could stand a real chance of breaking the incredible records set by the great Tendulkar.

Already having scored all over the world, Kohli is only left to make his mark in English conditions something that he will surely do over the course of the next few months.
