“I’m against any form of injustice and inequality”- Mick Schumacher clarifies his political stance after his ‘no comments’ controversy.

Mick Schumacher received social media flack after saying “no comments” when the media asked him about his stance on Lewis Hamilton’s activism for racial equality.

Several people accused him of enabling the injustice by maintaining his silence and not giving a statement he was “ought or expected” to make amidst the political climate.

Meanwhile, some handles were calling him a racist or a Nazi for not commenting on the issue, which for others was unacceptable just because he refused to speak.

I am not a racist

The sudden outburst propelled Schumacher to come out in public and clarify his position, where he openly claimed that he is against any social injustice in the world.

“I was recently misinterpreted after an interview on a question surrounding political activism. To make one thing clear. I’m against any form of injustice and inequality and support the fight against racism,” wrote Schumacher on Twitter.

Schumacher, in the end, became a victim of cancel culture. Still, his public statement has apparently attracted people to support him in this controversy, as many objected to the extension of criticism against the German race driver.

Schumacher is set to make his F1 debut for Haas this year. Before his Grand Prix debut in Bahrain, he will be involved in the test session in the middle east country, two weeks before the first Grand Prix event.
