‘You asked for 30 points, I’ll give you 31’: Stephen Curry explodes for 31 points in response to Heat legend Dwyane Wade’s requests for 30 in the three-point contest

Dwyane Wade requested a 30-point outing from Stephen Curry at the 3-point contest. The GOAT shooter duly obliged with 31.

On Sunday night, the best of the best players in the league went at it at the All-Star event. Right before the annual All-Star Game, were the Skill Challenge and Three-Point Contests.

Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade had one request from Stephen Curry. Wade requested the 7-time All-Star to score 30 points in the shooting contest.

Normally, for any other player, it would be one impossible wish to fulfil. But, Curry being Curry, delivered in style. He did Dwyane Wade one better and scored an insane 31 points in the first round of the three-point contest.

Chef Curry is absolutely insane with his three-point shooting. There’s almost nothing that the future Hall-Of-Famer can’t do with the ball in his hand.

Seeing Curry play the way he has been over the past several years, his win shouldn’t come as a surprise anymore. What was cool was the fact that he won the contest as he converted his last three-point attempt.

With 28 points in the final round, the Baby Faced Assassin defeated Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley’s respectable 27 points. As Curry now wins his second three-point contest, former Lakers legend Magic Johnson believes that Steph is the greatest shooter known to the league. Earvin tweeted:

“Stephen Curry, the greatest shooter we’ve ever known in the NBA, won the 3-point contest. 31 in the first round?! Man! Exploding head His last three sealed his victory over Mike Conley Jr.”

It has now come to a point that Stephen Curry’s only competition is himself. First-time All-Star Mike Conley shouldn’t be disappointed that he lost. 27 points in a three-point contest is a lot and most of the time, enough for the win. Unluckily for him, his opponent was the great Stephen Curry.
