 “I think you can already see that it is an incredibly successful car”- Sebastian Vettel is confident about the new Aston Martin’s AMR21.

Sebastian Vettel is set to debut for Aston Martin in the last week of March, and so far, he has only talked about how positive he has lately been feeling with Aston Martin.

Now, he claims that Aston Martin’s newest product, AMR21 is an incredible car, as he laid his hands on it during the filming session at Silverstone last Friday.

“I think the car looks fantastic”, Vettel said in an interview with Germany’s RTL. “Unfortunately, the look is not rewarded. We will have to fight hard for the points, but I think you can already see that it is incredibly successful.

“Of course, we still have to prove ourselves on the track and show that we have the potential to continue attacking in the future. At the moment, it is difficult to set targets, but we will certainly try to give everything from the start”, Vettel continued.

Tough to defeat the top 2

Vettel has clarified that Aston Martin would be expecting a P3 in 2021, as his recent explanation suggests that they both are untouchables for the rest of the grid.

“I think the favourite role is shared between Mercedes and first challenger Red Bull Racing. but if we are behind them, that would be a big step for us.”

Therefore, Vettel expects a few podiums out of the 23 races they are going to compete in 2021, and a P3 position on the table would make him content.

This season’s main rivals are Ferrari, McLaren and Alpine, and everyone in this league is eyeing that position this season. So, it remains how things fair out for Aston Martin this year, with Vettel to guide them to success.
