Yuvraj Singh hits four consecutive sixes: The former Indian all-rounder brought back memories of the past against Zander de Bruyn.

During the 13th match of the ongoing Road Safety World Series between India Legends and South Africa Legends in Raipur, India Legends all-rounder Yuvraj Singh brought back memories of the past by smashing as many as four consecutive sixes to astonish one and all.

It all happened on the 18th over of the innings when Yuvraj assaulted South Africa Legends’s Zander de Bruyn to leave his counterpart clueless at the Shaheed Veer Singh Narayan Stadium.

Yuvraj, who missed the first ball of the over, appeared to be making amends for his below par start as he hit a short delivery for a six over the mid-wicket region. Having hit one down the ground on the third delivery of the over, Yuvraj once again targeted the mid-wicket region for his third six of the match.

With de Bruyn once again bowling in his arc, Yuvraj replicated his second six as he hit the bowler down the ground for the second time in the over. It was a slower delivery outside the off-stump which aided de Bruyn from getting hit for a fifth consecutive six.

Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the 14th over, Yuvraj ended up scoring a hard-hitting 52* (22) with the help of two fours and six sixes as he played a pivotal role in India Legends scoring 80 runs in the last five overs.

After South Africa Legends captain Jonty Rhodes won the toss and invited the hosts in to bat, India Legends put on board a dominating 204/3 in 20 overs. Other than Yuvraj, India Legends captain Sachin Tendulkar (60) and batsman Subramaniam Badrinath (42) contributed significantly in the first innings.
