“Kevin Durant Can Do It All From Anywhere On The Floor”: Anthony Davis names the player he finds the hardest to guard
Los Angeles Lakers’ star Anthony Davis names Kevin Durant as the player he finds the hardest to guard in the NBA
Kevin Durant is one in a generational talent in the NBA. After suffering a devastating Achilles injury, he is back playing basketball. Although people say that KD hasn’t looked quite like his old self, his recent performances have proven them wrong. The Slim Reaper has averaged 38.7 points per game in his last three appearances on the court. Putting up 42, 42, and 32 in his last three outings, looks like KD is all geared up and ready for the playoffs.
However, the case does not seem the same all the way over West in LA. Anthony Davis and the Lakers seem to be struggling. Currently, they’re on the 6th spot and can end up anywhere between the 5th and the 7th spot. Ever since Anthony Davis returned from his injury, his shooting has been off. He’s just shooting a little under 40% from the field and has been unable to deliver at the level that’s expected off of him.
“Guarding Kevin Durant is a nightmare”: Anthony Davis
Kevin Durant is a towering 6’11 forward with a crazy wingspan. He can drive to the hoop, as well as pull up from anywhere on the floor. Naturally, he is a nightmare to guard. Anthony Davis recently hosted an Ask me Anything (A.M.A) session on Reddit. There a user asked him who’s the toughest player for him to guard.
AD replied by naming Kevin Durant. He elaborated and said that KD is 6’11 and can do it all from anywhere on the floor.

In the current day NBA, there would hardly be any player who would voluntarily guard KD. He’s a force on the court, and to defend him is a daunting task in itself. While a lot of people predicted Lakers vs Nets for a potential finals matchup, the current state of the Lakers may lead to that just being a dream. However, till LeBron James is suited up, nothing can be ruled out.
