The Phoenix Suns completely gave up the early advantage they had built early in the series. Last night the Los Angeles Lakers took Game 3 and now lead the first-round series 2-1. Despite being the #2 seed, the Suns never looked like the better team. An abysmal performance by the defending champions in Game 1 gave fans hope, but the Lakers were quick to snatch it back. After a forgettable Game 1, Anthony Davis has looked sharp in Games 2 and 3, and carried the Lakers.

Jae Crowder may have had something to do about the Game 3 performances by the Lakers. Hours before the game, Jae was spotted liking a tweet that dismissed Anthony Davis and the Lakers’ 2020 championship.

An injured Chris Paul and an out of rhythm Phoenix Suns. To rub salt to the wound, Jae Crowder ends up trying to mess with LeBron James and his Lakers. Obviously, the King did not take it lightly. LBJ went on a full rampage mode against his former teammate.

In today’s section of the Undefeated, Skip Bayless questions Jae Crowder and his motives behind the action. Why would Jae mock LeBron before a crucial Game 3 of the series? Why would Jae mock the Bubble ring, if the team LBJ beat to get it was his own Miami Heat?

With the Lakers back in a strong position, it would be interesting to see how Phoenix handles this. One thing is sure, if Chris Paul isn’t healthy, the Suns do not stand a chance against the King and his Lakers.
