SOM vs SUR Head to Head Records: The SportsRush presents for you the Head to Head statistics for the 11th match of T20 Blast 2021.
The 11th match of the ongoing 19th season of the T20 Blast will be played between Somerset and Surrey at The Cooper Associates County Ground tonight. The match will be one of the six matches that will be played in the tournament on Friday.
Somerset, who don’t have a very impressive record against Surrey in T20 Blast, had started this tournament on a losing note after Essex all-rounder James Neesham scored a quickfire fifth T20 half-century to seal a 186-run target on Wednesday.
In addition to winning double the number of matches that they’ve lost against Somerset in T20 Blast, Surrey also have winning momentum under their belt after they beat Middlesex by 54 runs at Lord’s last night.

The last time when Somerset and Surrey had faced each other was in a league match of T20 Blast 2019. Chasing a 158-run target, Surrey had sealed the chase in the 17th over on the back of opening batsman Aaron Finch scoring a match-winning 102* (53) comprising of five fours and nine sixes.
After Somerset captain Tom Abell had won the toss and chose to bat, the visitors were restricted to 157/9 in 20 overs primarily due to economical spells by Imran Tahir and Gareth Batty as they picked four and two wickets respectively.
