“Paul George isn’t even the best player on his own team!”: Jalen Rose mocks the Clippers’ star for not stepping up against the Jazz
NBA Analyst Jalen Rose adds himself to the list of people discrediting Paul George, says the Clippers’ star is not a superstar
The NBA as a whole is a confusing place. While it has its heartwarming moments, there are moments where it leaves on dumbfounded. There are times where the brotherhood and camaraderie among the players amaze people, whereas other times the fans and analysts try their best to discredit everything.
There are no players in the current day NBA who receive as much hate as Russell Westbrook and Paul George. Since PG made his way to LA, people expected the Clippers to win it all. However, last year they got knocked out in the second round. George had a postseason he’d like to forget, but the people won’t let him.
This year, the Clippers are back in the second round and are down 2-1 against the Jazz. George has been performing better than he did last year, yet people keep piling on the hate.
“Paul George is no superstar”: Jalen Rose
Former NBA player, and current-day NBA Analyst Jalen Rose added himself to the list of people discrediting Paul George. Before the Clippers took the floor for Game 3, Jalen had quite a few things to say about PG.
“Paul George is not a superstar. He’s not even the best player on his team. Is Anthony Davis a superstar?
To me, being a great player and an All-NBA performer doesn’t necessarily translate to what I consider a superstar. A superstar means ‘we’re great because we got you.'”
Paul George A Superstar ?:
“@Yg_Trece is not a superstar, he isn’t even the best player on his team,” says @JalenRose.

Paul George came out and performed like he heard these comments and took it personally. George scored 31 points tonight, while 6/10 from the deep. The Clippers would hope PG keeps performing in the same fashion as they hope to tie the series at home, before heading back to Salt Lake City.
The Jazz take on the Clippers for Game 4 on Monday.
