F1 Sprint Races: Cryptocurrency platform to sponsor new sprint races this year
F1 Sprint Races: Cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com to sponsor the new three sprint races set to happen this year in Formula 1.
With an intention to enhance the excitement of a Grand Prix weekend, Formula 1 decided to add sprint races into the season to have more competitive content to look forward.
Now, a cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com has been announced by Formula 1 as the partner for its new series of Sprint races which will begin at next month’s British Grand Prix.
The F1’s official website has declared the platform as the official cryptocurrency sponsor and NFT [non-fungible token] partner. The application used by 10 million people will surely be influential for F1.
“In addition to building the world’s fastest-growing crypto platform and the leading app in both the App Store and Google Play, the Crypto.com Visa Card is the world’s most popular crypto card available in 30+ countries worldwide.”
“Partnering with Formula 1 will ensure Crypto.com continue to grow their brand awareness on an international stage,” a statement by F1 stated.
Moreover, the statement also emphasised that Crypto.com’s vision of carbon-negative in the next 18 months, aligns with the carbon neutrality 2030 vision of FIA. Thus, it is a complimenting match.
Formula 1 eyes cryptocurrency
With the world breaking its hesitations around cryptocurrency and have started investing extensively despite its so-called volatility. And F1 finding its first cryptocurrency sponsors opens so many gates for the fraternity.
