“Damian Lillard can’t catch a break!”: Blazers’ superstar snatches A’ja Wilson’s phone after getting roasted by the 2020 WNBA MVP and the USWBNT for his fresh haircut
Blazers’ superstar Damian Lillard gets a haircut before yesterday’s game against Iran, gets roasted by A’ja Wilson and the women’s team
The weeks leading up to the Tokyo Olympics were heavily focused on Damian Lillard. Despite Lillard and the Blazers getting knocked out in the first round, Dame had all the media attention. The focus was on Lillard possibly asking for a trade, and if so, where would he go. After months of all the noise, Dame must have been looking forward to getting away from it when he came to Tokyo.
However, the media just followed him to Japan as well. After his subpar performance in Game 1 against France, the media was all over Damian Lillard once again. However, Lillard bounced back strong in Game 2 against Iran. The 31-year-old led all scoring with 21 points, as the USA took down Iran 120-66.

Despite all the jokes, looks like the haircut worked. Damian Lillard popped off against Iran and led the USA to their first win in these Olympics. Team USA suits up again on 31st July as they would face the Czech Republic for the final game of the group stages.
