“Lewis did an amazing lap and then you get booing so the people should question themselves”– Valtteri Bottas is furious at fans in Hungary.
Lewis Hamilton played a tactic to slow down Max Verstappen outside the pitlane, but Red Bull gave no response. However, it didn’t go well with the fans of Verstappen, and they booed the seven-time world champion while he was giving his post-qualification interview.
Hamilton gave a befitting reply, but it actually upset Valtteri Bottas, who slammed the fans present in Hungary booing Hamilton at that point.
“We are here as athletes to give everything we have for the sport we love and Lewis did an amazing lap and then you get booing so the people should question themselves. It is not right, it is not fair and we don’t want to see these kind of things,” according to Philip Duncan.

Apparently, both sides have started to feel that the drama of the British Grand Prix is unnecessarily following into the Hungarian Grand Prix and want to end the media hype around it.
Bad weekend for Red Bull?
Apart from FP1, Red Bull hardly managed to come at the top, and the deficit between the two teams appeared in the qualifying, as Hamilton was around four-tenths ahead of Verstappen.
Moreover, Red Bull seems to be a disadvantage on the tyre strategy, as they would be starting on the soft-compound tyres, and with the heat, they will wear out even more quickly, so an early pitstop by Red Bull is inevitable.
