WWE play Bray Wyatt Promo on RAW despite releasing him last week. The former WWE and Universal Champion was reportedly let go due to budget cuts.

Bray Wyatt is no longer part of the WWE Universe. The former WWE Champion was released from the promotion last weekend as part of their ongoing budget cuts. That however, hasn’t stopped them from selling his merchandise or talking about him on their shows.

On tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, the WWE reportedly aired a promo involving Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin talking about The Fiend and how awesome the character was. Reputed journalist Jon Alba, who was in attendance at the show from Orlando, posted about it on social media.

Earlier reports have suggested that before his eventual release Wyatt was scheduled to return from his absence on tonight’s episode. The promo could have been leading into his very return later in the show.

Interestingly, this promo was only played for fans who were in attendance at The Amway Center.

Earlier in the night, the crowd hijacked the event once again with “We Want Wyatt” chants. They seemed to have reserved it however, until Alexa Bliss’ match against Doudrop.


Fans did the same last week as well. They have been very vocal about their dissapointment with the WWE. It seems unlikely however, that this will result in WWE bringing Wyatt back.

Instead, it seems that the heat towards the promotion has wrongly been transferred unto Alexa Bliss.
