Tom Brady and Charles Woodson share quite the history together, and so when the two of them met at Woodson’s Hall of Fame induction, LeBron James had to react.

Brady and Woodson have battled it out multiple times against each other both during Woodson’s tenure as a then Oakland Raider and Green Bay Packer.

Brady was present at the Hall of Fame induction because he had several former rivals and friends being inducted. Of course, Peyton Manning was the biggest name, but Brady also had to come show support for his former University of Michigan teammte in Charles Woodson.

LeBron James Reacts To Tom Brady And Charles Woodson’s GOAT Talk

Woodson goes down as one of the greatest safeties to have played in the NFL alongside other legends like Ed Reed. And well, for Tom Brady, we already know what his legacy is. Seven Super Bowl rings and whatnot.

So, when LeBron saw the video of the two talking, he reacted on his Instagram story, calling both of them GOATs, appreciating their greatness.

Brady and Woodson’s storied rivalry goes all the way back to Brady’s early years in the NFL. In the 2002 AFC Championship Game, Brady and the Patriots were down 13-10, driving down the field to rescue their chances of making the Super Bowl.

Charles Woodson came flying in one play, seeming to pop the ball out of Brady’s creating a turnover for the defense and effectively sealing the game. However, officials ruled that Brady was attempting a pass, and thus, it was not a fumble. The Pats would go on to win the game and the Super Bowl that year, kickstarting a 20 year long dynasty.

That play would famously live on as ‘The Tuck Rule”, a painful reminder for Raiders fans.

It’s crazy to imagine what NFL history would look like right now had Brady’s fumble call not been overturned and the Raiders had won the game. However, in the end, both Brady and Woodson will have enjoyed successful NFL careers and can call each other friends now.
