Who to partner Nicholas Latifi in 2022?
In August, with Russell already nearing his move to Mercedes, there were even doubts over Latifi remaining with Mercedes, but later that month, Williams’ team principal Jost Capito claimed that Latifi looks like continuing his stay with them in 2022.
This brings us to the point of who will partner him at Williams after Russell’s departure. According to the recent reports, Alex Albon and Nycj de Vries are leading the battle, and it has also turned into another arena of Mercedes Vs Red Bull.
However, Capito claims that they are under no pressure from either of the teams and would soon decide, but in no hurry, with other candidates also in mind for the position.
