WATCH: MS Dhoni asks Dinesh Karthik to stay stationary on the field
MS Dhoni has always been extremely vocal behind the stumps, telling the bowlers and the fielders to function in a certain matter in order to help the team execute the plans that they are supposed to.
Often we have heard Dhoni guide the bowlers, especially the spinners, asking them to bowl a certain line and length in order to get the better of the batsman. And more often than not, we see him succeeding, setting up beautiful plans for the batsmen, and asking the bowlers to execute them on the field.
In the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka, during the 18th over, while Kuleep Yadav was operating, MS Dhoni kept on manoeuvring the field, asking the fielders to be at the exact point where Rohit and Dhoni wanted them to be.
During that 18th over, MS Dhoni wanted Karthik to be in a certain position, and thus shouted at him twice, asking him to stay stationary at one point, and not move all over the place.
Dhoni said: “Abey ek jagah khada reh”(Stand at one place, don’t keep moving around)

India bowled Sri Lanka out for a paltry score of 215, despite a crafty 95 from Tharanga at the top of the order.
The Indian batsman would now expect themselves to knock these runs off in quick fashion, and clinch the series 2-1.
