BREAKING: Stephen Fleming to continue as CSK coach, all set to groom young talents

In a delightful news for the roaring CSK fans, Stephen Fleming will be at the helm of things in coaching the Chennai Super Kings for the start of the next decade of IPL.

Apart from continuing to coach the team, Stephen Fleming will take charge to groom the CSK Academy as well, a place where the aspiring young prospects crop up.

With MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja are confirmed that they will turn up in yellows next year, the entertainment quotient is doubled to the core.

As per the potential inputs from Times Of India, CSK director K George John said that the team management’s vision is to develop and nurture the young sporting talents.

In addition to that, CSK are keen to bring in it’s former players and local coaches as well just to make sure that the entire ambience in CSK is good.

The next step is they are in search of the best location to kick-start the academy around next April-May.

“The whole idea behind the academy is to groom young talents for the future. Fleming may well be at the helm of things as guiding force of the academy.

We are looking at having some former CSK players and local coaches to set things going. We are on the look-out for a suitable place to start the academy around April-May next year,” said John.

It is learnt from the words of CSK director that they are looking forward to test the budding talents that they already have in their ranks.

“CSK may not conduct trials to spot talents from TN. There are quite a few who have done well in TNPL.

The fact that the tournament was televised makes it easy for every franchise to zoom in on required players. It’s about finding the right talent,”
