Shikhar Dhawan congratulates Krunal Pandya on Twitter
Indian opening batsman, Shikhar Dhawan was in the news recently for his outburst against Emirates Airlines. Dhawan was with his family at Dubai airport, when a couple of Emirates officials stopped Dhawan’s family from traveling with him to South Africa.
Shikhar was irate, as he did not understand why the officials were suddenly asking for verification documents. Dhawan eventually had to leave his wife and kids in Dubai, as launched a furious tirade against the airlines agency on Twitter.
But things eventually got sorted out, as Dhawan’s family reached South Africa a day later. Shikhar is currently nursing an ankle injury which he picked up after the India-Sri Lanka series, and will be hoping to get fit in time for the first test against South Afrcia in Cape Town.

Dhawan took to Twitter again today, but this time it was to congratulate Mumbai Indians all-rounder, Krunal Pandya, for his wedding. The older Pandya brother was the latest Indian cricketer to get hitched, as he joined Kohli and Bhuvneshwar in getting married this wedding season.
Krunal married his long time partner, Pankhuri Sharma in a grand wedding ceremony a couple of days ago. The all-rounder became an integral part of the MI squad a few years ago, and was one of their best players in their triumphant IPL season last year.
Krunal sent out a wonderful tweet to his newly wed wife after his wedding, as the cricketer shared his special day with his fans.
Dhawan also sent a wonderful message on Twitter to Krunal, as he wished him and Pankhuri the very best in the new chapter of their lives.
