WATCH: Virat Kohli celebrates his 33rd ODI ton in style
The chase master was at it again. Up against a formidable bowling line up, chasing a score of 270 on a rather two paced wicket, India needed a Virat Kohli special to help them conquer that score of 270.
And when you have a challenge in place, Virat Kohli is more than determined to overcome it in emphatic fashion.
Having ran out Dhawan during the opening stages of the run-chase, the onus was on Kohli ton take India home, and with the kind of determination that he was emanating at the crease, it was imminent that Kohli wanted to go all the way.
The Indian skipper brought up his hundred in grand style, caressing Phehlukwayo through covers, and then celebrating his heart out, gesturing to the dressing room about the apparent bouncy tracks that the South Africans were supposed to prepare for the Indians.

Match Situation
India are cruising to victory, thanks to that wonderful partnership between Rahane and Kohli, keeping the score board ticking during the middle overs by rotating strike and taking those calculative risks, whenever needed.
Rahane holed out in the deep while going for the ’emphatic’, and Pandya has now walked out to the middle to help Kohli finish off the chase.
This is Kohli’s 33rd ODI ton and his first in South Africa. He has now scored a ton in every country that he has played in.
