WATCH: First look of Formula One’s streaming service F1 TV for 2018

Liberty Media taking over the sport of Formula One last season meant that the sport would be gaining some digital prowess with respect to its marketing and viewer experience. OOT(Over the top), a paid, ad-free streaming service was at the top of their agenda and they have come up with the first look of it today.

The OOT service called the F1 TV Pro will have ad-free live coverage of every session, access to all 20 on-board cameras, exclusive highlight reel and press conferences.

The service will be made available in a select few countries initially(Germany, France, USA, Mexico, Belgium, Austria, Hungary and much of Latin America) and will be rolled out in 4 languages(English, French, German and Spanish).

Price

The service has been priced between $8 and $12 per month, with annual packages varying according to the standard of living of the country.

‘F1 TV access’ is a less expensive non-live service and will have radio commentary and extended highlights in it.

Why OTT?

This new service attempts to increase fan interaction and helps them connect with the sport in a better way.
