MS Dhoni to sue Amrapali Group for owing him money
CSK’s return to IPL cricket has been a wonderful sight for fans of the league as a whole, as the sight of the yellow army back in action reminds you why we fell in love with them in the first place.
MS Dhoni has not lead his side to two straight victories, as CSK won two last over thrillers to mark a emphatic return to the league.
Dhoni himself has received huge ovations in both matches, as the legendary player has been getting a lot of love from fans all over the country.
The Ranchi man though has come in the news today, as Dhoni decides to sue Amrapali Group for not paying him what he was owed.
The group are stuck in a major financial crisis, and find themselves unable to complete several projects right now.
This is what Dhoni’s manager, Arun Pandey, had to say about the matter.
“They haven’t given us money for branding and marketing activities,” Pandey was quoted as saying by The Economic Times in a recent interaction.
Dhoni was Amrapali Group’s brand ambassador for six to seven years, and feels he has been professionally cheated by the group.
In the mean time, Dhoni will now be busy preparing for CSK’s home matches in Pune, as Chennai will no longer host their matches this season.
The Cauvery water crisis has become a major issue in the state, and protesters do not want cricket to resume until the water crisis has been averted.
