IPL 2018 : KKR’s playing XI against Rajasthan Royals
KKR and Rajasthan will meet tonight, as two in-form teams will be looking to continue their momentum and pick up another win in IPL 2018.
Rajasthan were superb in their last match against RCB, as they rode on Sanju Samson’s brilliant 92 to pick up their second win in three matches.
KKR picked up an important win in their last match, as Andre Russell’s all-round performance helped KKR get over the line against Delhi.
OPENERS
A few experiments with the batting line up haven’t paid off and the opening slot is still up for grabs. An out of form Chris Lynn has made it tough for his partners and KKR might again opt for Sunil Narine at the top against the Delhi Daredevils.
MIDDLE ORDER
The new man in charge Dinesh Karthik has looked solid and is the glue that holds everyone together. However there is also a chance that the Under19 sensation Shubhman Gill could be promoted up the order.
BOWLERS
The injuries continue to plague the KKR sending another pacer to the Doctor’s table. After the Mitchell Starc departure, India Under19 pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti has also been ruled out of the IPL due to a foot injury.
After making three changes in the last match, KKR wouldn’t be willing to experiment anymore so soon again. Shivam Mavi in place of Vinay Kumar looks a great choice and they should be persistent with him.
Predicted XI :
Chris Lynn, Shubhman Gill, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (C), Andre Russel, Sunil Narine, Shivam Mavi, Mitchell Johnson, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav.
