Dhoni trolls Sanjay Manjrekar during the toss at IPL final
CSK play SRH in the IPL final today.
Chennai Super Kings play Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL final today. This will be CSK’s 7th final, while Sunrisers will look forward to win the trophy for the second time. The match takes place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
This season’s IPL has been very eventful, so it was only fitting that the toss for IPL final had its own share of entertainment. CSK’s captain, MS Dhoni tossed the coin as Kane Williamson called tails.
However, there was a slight confusion about the winner of the toss. And MS Dhoni capitalised on the situation, and decided to take a mickey out of Sanjay Manjrekar. Look at the video and see how Dhoni tries to confuse Sanjay Manjrekar as the commentator asks him to step forward.

Whenever Manjrekar asked, “did you call heads?” to Dhoni, the CSK captain pointed to his counterpart Kane Williamson and laughingly said, “He called tails.”
MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to field in the IPL final. It is worth noting that SRH’s captain, Kane Williamson holds the orange cap in this IPL season. He has scored 688 runs in this season so far.
CSK have made it to the finals in their comeback season, while SRH will play their second final in three seasons. Both the teams met in the qualifier 1 as well.
SRH defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the eliminator on Friday.
Chennai Super Kings will aim for their third IPL trophy since the tournament’s inception in 2008. They have finished runners-up in four seasons of IPL so far.
