Is 7ft Giannis Antetokounmpo Enjoying Favoritism From Officials? Advanced Stats Reveal Ugly Truth
Giannis Antetokounmpo has quietly been having yet another MVP-caliber season for the Milwaukee Bucks. Admittedly, while he does get some attention for the number 1 spot on the MVP ladder, he clearly deserves far more.
So far this season, the Greek Freak has been averaging 31.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists to go along with 1 steal, and 1 block per game. And of course, he’s doing it on 53% from the field, and a bit low, yet fast-rising 62.8% from the charity stripe.
Speaking of the charity stripe though, it appears that a certain NBA fan decided to do a little deep dive into Giannis’s numbers getting there.
Suffice it to say, you’re going to want to see it.
NBA Redditor may have exposed NBA Officials’ favoritism towards Giannis Antetokounmpo
NBA players often complain about not getting nearly enough foul calls. And of course, it doesn’t quite help that some players get them far, far more than others.
But hey, that’s only because they drive more than most others to the rim… right?
Well, as a certain NBA Redditor’s research exposed, that sure isn’t the case with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Take a look at the image in the tweet below.
Does he?

Admittedly, that looks more than just a little suspicious at first glance. But, is there more to this than just numbers?
Is Giannis Antetokounmpo really getting a kinder whistle?
Giannis Antetokounmpo is a freak of nature. A 7 foot 242 lbs being who plays grown man basketball, the kind that makes every opponent look like a child.
Why is that important? Well, because it’s not easy to stop the guy through legal means. Instead, you see several teams try to foul him before he has even started his upward motion.
Even a second late, and they run the risk of heating him up through free throws.
So yes, while Giannis Antetokounmpo does shoot an abnormally high number of free throws, it’s due to him bullying people day in and day out more than anything else.
