Brabourne Stadium pitch report 5th T20: India W vs Australia W pitch report of Brabourne Mumbai batting or bowling
Despite coming up with impressive batting performances in all the four matches of the series so far, team India have just not been able to get past the world champions in terms of the ultimate result, with the series score line reading 3-1.
Having already lost the five-match T20I series, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will look to go all out for the final time, during the fifth and last match set to take place at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, on Tuesday.
After losing the second T20I in the Super Over, Ellyse Perry’s back-to-back half-century knocks in the next two matches, helped Australia successfully defend their totals in what has been a high-scoring series so far.

As for India, eyes will yet again particularly be on their standout teenage finisher Richa Ghosh, who has batted at a strike rate of 190.74 in the series so far; the best amongst her fellow batters in the side.
Brabourne Stadium pitch report 5th T20
The red soil pitch at the Brabourne Stadium has turned out to be the bowlers’ graveyard during the previous two T20Is of the series, and expect nothing different during the 5th T20I on Tuesday.
‘Player of the match’ during the last T20I, Ashleigh Gardner, remarked the Brabourne pitch as fantastic to bat on. She also admitted to the fact that there was no turn in the pitch for the spinners, and it became imperative for her to mix the lengths up.
“It was (a good pitch to bat on). Every single pitch we have played on has been fantastic and some times it is hard to be bowler, that’s why it helps to be an all-rounder,” remarked Gardner after being adjudged the ‘Player of the match’.
The stand-in Australian skipper Tahlia McGrath too stated that despite having in it a bit of help for the quicks with the new ball initially, it was a “good cricket wicket” to bat on.
“New wicket and played reasonably similar, little bit early on for the quicks but really good cricket wicket,” remarked McGrath on the Brabourne Stadium pitch after the end of the fourth T20I.
