“Wearing A Suit Means Business”: ‘Usually Unfashionable,’ $30 million worth Nikola Jokic Explains the Reason Behind his Stylish Pregame Fit
After grabbing 3 straight losses early in the start of the month, the Denver Nuggets have changed their fortunes by winning 5 out of the next 6 games. The only man is responsible for Mike Malone’s being placed 1st in the Western Conference – Nikola Jokic.
The Joker has been phenomenal throughout the season, however, his performance in this 6-game span has been spectacular. Prior to tonight’s Denver-Memphis clash, the Serbian grabbed 2 triple-doubles and averaged a staggering 34.4 points, 14.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists. And also recorded a monstrous 40/27/10 outing against the Hornets.
A game after his historic outing, the 2-time MVP went on to lead the Nuggets to a 105-91 win as he put on an easy 13-point, 13-rebound, and 13-assist triple-double.
However, despite putting on a game-winning performance, Nikola made headlines for his pregame fit.
“It’s one way to represent yourself”: Nikola Jokic
Prior to tipoff, the 4-time All-Star was seen entering the Ball Arena, looking pretty smart as he had a stylish suit put on.
Nikola, who is not known for being flamboyant, had several basketball enthusiasts surprised. Charles Barkley was one of many who seemed to be shocked when the 6-foot-11 big man made his way into the building. On the sets of NBA on TNT, Chuck hyped up Nikola’s pregame fit:
“Look at that man right there. Damn Joker, that’s what happens after you get 45, 27, and 10.”
Of course, postgame, Barkley had to ask Joker about the outfit Jokic had on. Talking about the same, the center said:
“I started doing it this season. I think it’s one way to represent yourself. I just don’t like how the guys are dressing up for the games. Wearing a suit means business. I’m here to do my job.”

Jokic joins Wilt Chamberlain in a historic feat
Over the past 2 games, the $30 million worth star has been putting up a jaw-dropping 53 points, 40 rebounds, and 23 assists while shooting the ball at an efficient 50% from the field.
Jokic now joins Wilt Chamberlain as only the second player to post those types of numbers in NBA history.
Only two players in NBA history have recorded 50+ PTS, 40+ REB, and 20+ AST on 50% shooting over a 2-game span.

Currently averaging 24.7/11/9.2 per game, there is a huge chance we see Jokic rise up in the next MVP Ladder.
